Phnom Penh

Back in a big city- Talk about a shock to the system! We haven't been in a big city since Bangkok! People everywhere, tuk tuk drivers yelling, traffic in gridlock, running across 4 lanes of traffic! Crazy!
We hired a bike (normal people hire a tuk tuk and I can see why!) and went to s21 prison and then onto the Killing Fields. Heart wrenching. No photos , it just didn't feel right taking them.
Riding the bike through the city was great fun though pretty scary at some points!
We did a walking tour through the city, saw Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, Independence Monument blah blah. So tired at the end! Went to some great Markets too!
The funniest part was on our last night when our tuk tuk broke down in the flooded street and we had to walk through dirty water up to our knees for a couple of blocks!
